Karleigh's got a boyfriend!

After the temple we went to a Grizzlies game. We took all the kids. Karleigh LOVED!! it . She was clapping and dancing to the music it was soo fun to watch her. Well behind us was a group of about 8 9year old boys. There was one that just loved Karleigh. He totally entertained her. She kept giving him five and flirting. It was so cute. Well at half time they throw these foam pucks out on the ice and the group of boys had a few to throw. So the little boy came and gave one to karleigh. And was trying to tell her that you throw it out on the ice. Karleigh obviously didn't get what he was saying but loved the attention. She held on to the puck and thought it was so cool.

Chad looked at me and said Karleigh's got a boyfriend (in a sing song teasing tone). So all day yesterday Colton kept saying Karleighee boyfriend (sing song teasing tone). We all just kept laughing.

All and all we had a really good time!

Temple

So we went and saw the new Draper Temple. Preston was told about it in Primary last week and asked me if we could go. My mom was going on Saturday with her ward so she got us a ticket. It was beautiful. Preston thought it was so pretty. It was really fun to watch how excited he was and watch his expressions. It was such a great experience. Even little Colton enjoyed it. He thought the Font was a swimming pool.
It was a really great time.

IDAho

So Chad turned the big 30! I love him so much. He had to go up to Idaho for work so we left the kids with family and I went with him. I had no idea what to get him for his birthday so I gave myself. We had a really great time. It was very relaxing and I loved spending time just me and him. I think I liked it much more than Palm Springs. We made a trip up to see his grandma in Hibbard and that was nice to see her as well as his great grandma.

Big day for Karleigh

For the last week Karleigh has been standing on her own and she thinks she is so big. She stands and then wants us to clap and cheer. Well I have been trying to get her to take a few steps at least one on her own. No such luck until today. I took Colton and her to my grandparents and Karleigh walked 5 steps to grandpa she would have made it all the way if I hadn't freaked out. I am so excited for her to walk. I am so happy it was to my grandpa. I love my grandma and grandpa so much! So it was great to have shared the moment with them.

OCWii? or D?

So Colton is completely obsessed with the Wii. The crazy thing about it is that we don't have one. We live in the basement of family and they have one upstairs and Nana across the street has one and the aunt up the street has one. So because we are surrounded by them I figured we could save our 250.00 and just use theirs. Except the problem is we find times when the other people may actually be using their televisions for watching a show per say. Well that leaves us scrambling and trying to calm a hysterical 2 (almost 3. You know terrible 3's) year old because he can't play now. Those of you out there that have not had a two year old going through the terrible 3's early are probably thinking to yourselves " I can't believe she is blogging this. Is it really a crisis? Well it is.

Unfortunatly OCD ( obsessive compulsive disorder. For those of you who don't know) runs in the extended family. So we have a little joke around here that this is just OCWii. Hopefully he gets over this quick! I really don't have 250.00 And I don't think the binkifairy and pull this one off.

Speaking of binkifairy anyone know how to get a binki away from a child. Preston did it as soon as Colton was born. He saw Colton with one and said it was a baby thing. Unfortunatly Karleigh never took one. And Colton won't give it up. Suggestions please. If I can't find anything I may just have to cold turkey and go through the complete HE double hockey sticks for a couple of days. wait knowing my kids it will be weeks not days just for you to think it is over and a couple of months later they will ask for it again. You think the lord is trying to teach me to stick to my word. With these kids? probably!
