Happy Birthday Karleigh!

My baby is 2!!!! I can't believe it has been two years. We had a really fun day. It started off with opening presents before Daddy had to leave for work. Then we headed off to the zoo. It has become some sort of tradition to go to the zoo on her birthday. Since the last time we were at the zoo was last year on her birthday. It was so fun this year. The baby elephant was out to see for the first time and she is soooooo cute! The kids loved it! And I have to say I think I loved it as much maybe more. They also had a baby giraffe that was so cute. The big giraffe was over near the fence outside and people were petting it. It was really cool to see up close. Then we headed to see the baby tiger cubs but they were hiding. We did see the Lynx eating their Rabbits though. Pretty neat but at the same time kinda grose. Some kids felt bad for the rabbits others thought it was pretty neat. After a few nore animals, a ride on the carousel and train we headed home to get ready for the party. Presents, pinatas, cake and family! What else could a two year old ask for!

Colton

So Since this is my jOurnal you have to bear with me on some picturless posts. I just had to jot down some of the funny things my Coco says. It is probably not going to be as funny to those reading it unless you know Coco and know his hilarious personality and facial expressions he can pull. But I need to jot them down.

The other day we were on our way home from a long day of errands. I decided to take a detour through a newer neighborhood. Colton: "mom where you going?"
Me: " I just wanted to go this way".
Colton: "no mom jesus not want us to."
Me: (laughing) says Jesus doesn't care honey.
Colton: Yes mom he does, he not want us to.
Wow what a moment. It takes my young child to remind me that Jesus ALWAYS cares.

Arriving home from another long day of errands with a couple of vanilla frosty's in the car. As we arrive home Colton says he doesn't want one because he not like banilla. So I proceed to give it to his Cousin.
When he breaks in and says ' no I want it.' As he is eating he says "Hmm, this actually good" . Actually! I don't know where he learned that word but had me cracking up.

He has the funniest and most cute expressions. It is probably a mom thing but I absoulutly can't get enough of the kid. I am so glad he is home with me. I love him soooo much!

Today Chad tore a part off of his pizza and handed it to him in two small peices, ( yes I am having a brain fart. Can't think how to spell peices) Any way Colton takes them and says " Ohhh. How cute!" I can't explain how funny his voice is but he is hilarious. I love him so.
