Our Massive Garden!

So tonight the boys were helping to water the garden! It soon became a mud hole and a whole lot of fun.

Our Garden is Massive. I had to at least post one picture of the thing. But the kids love watching the plants grow.

Blessings

Well it was a very eventful day yestereday. First thing was My family reunion on my side of the family. We do this every year. It is one of my favorite reunions. It is my Dad's Father's side of the family and it is so neat. When I was little we would go to my dad's cousin brent's home in Eden and have chicken and swim in his fish pond. It was so fun to be with the whole family and cousins. AS we got older not everyone came it was a hit and miss but my family never missed. The last few years we have been going to Garden City to a old family Cabin and My Uncle always puts together a DVD of pictures of the ancestors and stories of Great Grandma Passey. She was the most amazing woman. She traveled across the plains with the pioneers and lost many of her family. They were part of the Willey Handcart company. She is such an example of a true pioneer all the way until she died. She died when I was little so I only remember her a little. But the stories of her are just amazing. I love hearing stories of my ancestors. So any way I took the three monkey's to the reunion (chad was working) Then Dropped Karleigh off at My mother-in-law and headed up to Kamas for the demolition Derby. This was the boys first derby and although it rained on us and the wind was ripping they LOVED!!!!!! it. We stayed all the way to the end and watched fireworks. They kids had such a great time.

Derby's are sentimental to us since that was Chad and I's first date not to mention Bilind Date. WE love those we would go to them all the time. We havn't been since P was born 4 years ago. So it was so much fun to go again. Especially to watch the boys reaction. Colton wouldn't even blink he just stared. He would dance to the music and stand on my lap and cheer it was adorable. Preston the silent observer even laughed a few times and clapped. It was a great time.

My Dad and little brother took us and My little sister and her friend and my other brother also joined us. So it was a good family time as well.

Of course I had no camera. But it was raining and windy so I pobably would not have taken any anyway.

Weather is crazy we went from that morning at the reunion in 101. degrees to the derbty wrapped in blankets to stay dry and warm. WEll I promise to get some pictures soon.

Memory Lane!

I got this from Stacey! So have fun you guys and play along!

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I need a Nanny!

So I took the three monkeys to Cherry Hill today. The first trip this summer and probably the last. It is so freakin expensive! Oh well. Karleigh loved the lazy river in her own fun get up. I know now why Laura hired me as her nanny. We would go to Cherry Hill every thursday. I see now why she needed me to help. It would have been so helpful to have another pair of ADULT hands. I took Chad's little cousin with us who is 7 and she wanted to go on the water slides and things. I couldn't go over there with Karleigh and Colton so I took them home and thank heavens for my sweet mother-in-law for watching the little ones so that I could return later with Courtney and Preston. We had a lot of fun. Preston was so brave he even went down the water slide with me. Just once though. If you know Preston that is HUGE!!!!. I went down Cardiac Canyon with Courtney. Wow it has been a while since I have done that. It was a lot of fun.

Of course I forgot the Camera so I have no fun pictures. Sorry.

Farmington Festival Days

Look at her cute teeth
Karleigh is in heaven! Love those suckers!
Today we went to the Parade in Farmington. I absolutly love our parade. It is always so good. I don't even ever want to go to the Fourth of July parades because festival days is always better. The kids had a blast. We have a great spot we go and the trees give us tons of shade. It was a blast.
After we went over to the carnival and Preston got his face painted and got a frog. His frogs name is Froggie. We are really into creativity around here. Lol.

Karleigh Update

Karleigh had surgery yesterday up at Primary's. She went in for Ear Tubes and a nasal scope to possibly remove her adnoide. Well she had fluid in both ears so they had to drain them then insert the tubes. Then they did the scope and found that her adnoide was large enough to remove. He said on a scale 1-4 it was a 31/2to 4 So he removed that. I didn't realize I guess that the adnoide surgery was a little more intense. She did great. Yet she struggled with her oxygen coming out of anesthesia. So she had to be on supplemental oxygen for a couple of hours after. She is doing great now. Just in pain. Though happy most of the time. She is such a trooper. what a way to start a life eh! Preston and Colton both had tubes put in so I was not worried about that but the adnoides was a little more intrusive. Any how. We are doing good.

She is really starting to "talk" She waves bu bye and says it too. She babbles alot and I swear I hear words in between the babble. If I repeat them to her sometimes she looks at me and smiles and puts her head down in a shy manner. So I really think she says things. She loves her brothers and Colton is so quick to play with her and help her when she is crying.
