Well it was a very eventful day yestereday. First thing was My family reunion on my side of the family. We do this every year. It is one of my favorite reunions. It is my Dad's Father's side of the family and it is so neat. When I was little we would go to my dad's cousin brent's home in Eden and have chicken and swim in his fish pond. It was so fun to be with the whole family and cousins. AS we got older not everyone came it was a hit and miss but my family never missed. The last few years we have been going to Garden City to a old family Cabin and My Uncle always puts together a DVD of pictures of the ancestors and stories of Great Grandma Passey. She was the most amazing woman. She traveled across the plains with the pioneers and lost many of her family. They were part of the Willey Handcart company. She is such an example of a true pioneer all the way until she died. She died when I was little so I only remember her a little. But the stories of her are just amazing. I love hearing stories of my ancestors. So any way I took the three monkey's to the reunion (chad was working) Then Dropped Karleigh off at My mother-in-law and headed up to Kamas for the demolition Derby. This was the boys first derby and although it rained on us and the wind was ripping they LOVED!!!!!! it. We stayed all the way to the end and watched fireworks. They kids had such a great time.
Derby's are sentimental to us since that was Chad and I's first date not to mention Bilind Date. WE love those we would go to them all the time. We havn't been since P was born 4 years ago. So it was so much fun to go again. Especially to watch the boys reaction. Colton wouldn't even blink he just stared. He would dance to the music and stand on my lap and cheer it was adorable. Preston the silent observer even laughed a few times and clapped. It was a great time.
My Dad and little brother took us and My little sister and her friend and my other brother also joined us. So it was a good family time as well.
Of course I had no camera. But it was raining and windy so I pobably would not have taken any anyway.
Weather is crazy we went from that morning at the reunion in 101. degrees to the derbty wrapped in blankets to stay dry and warm. WEll I promise to get some pictures soon.

Gotta love a good demolition derby! Jer and I used to go to them all the time and think, "Does this make us white trash? Who cares, they are sooo cool!"
It was fun to see you and your kids at the family reunion. What a difference...to go from that to a demolition derby! That is a creative first date:)
