Ear Infections......

So as you all know my kids are notorius for earinfections. Preston and colton both have tubes. Well I took Karleigh in a month or so again and she had earinfections. So we started ammoxicilin and that didn't clear it up. A few weeks later we are back in the doctors and she is put on augmentin. Well that didn't clear it up. So Monday I take her back in and they put her on Omnicef well Monday night she is up all night just screaming. Not like her she sleeps 7p to 7a. and So I felt something is wrong. But she does have the earinfection in the left and teething and has a cold. Well Tuesday she was up all night again just screaming. Her fever is 102. and not getting better. Then yesterday she was just listless continues not eating so I take her in last night 11:30pm and Sure enough her other ear is infected while on antibiotics. So she got a shot of Rocefen. Now we have to go back for 2 more shots.

Anyway I am just blogging that I am so sick of Ear Infections. I am tired and frusturated. Does anyone know why some kids get them and some dont'? and How the heck do you stop them from getting them.

Chad's Sister (we live in their basement) had her baby today Mia Sarah Jane Summerhays. She is beautiful. She weighed 9 lbs and Karleigh is only 14 lbs. Yet Karleigh looks huge. They have the same size feet it is so funny! Karleigh was just smiling at her and grabbing the blanket and pulling her to her it was soooooo cute, as well as sweet! We are so excited for a new little one. Karleigh and Mia will be best of friends. They are only 7 months apart!

So Preston is playing on the White Sox team this year in baseball. He is so excited. He has been wearing his hat and shirt for 3 days now. I finally told him I had to wash the shirt. Chad is Coaching his team and Preston thinks that is sooo cool!

So yesterday Alicia and I went to the Gateway museum to meet Elmo! The kids were soo excited that was until Elmo actually came out. Alicia's girls did okay but my boys were not so sure. Colton loves Elmo so I thought he would be so excited but I guess he likes him when he stays in the TV. Lol. He kept saying "scary scary" Any way we got a picutre but the boys would not stand near him. Karleigh kept looking back at him wondering" what the heck are you".

The kids love it there. Thanks Alicia for gettting us in again! WE love ya

well preston hates his picture taken. I have been trying to get one picture of the three kids but preston refuses to cooperate. so i am sorry that there is not many pictures of him on here but I really just dont have many.

Chad is looking for a job right now so if any of you have any ideas please send them our way! We have been so blessed in the past. I guess it is our turn to be tested. Not to say that we are not being blessed now because we are things just are hard at times.
