It's a Girl!!!

Yes that is right. I couldn't wait. I am a sucker! I tried I really did but I just had to find out. I was so afraid that Chad was going to be mad at me but he is disappointed we didn't wait but is also excited!

I am so excited. It is going to be great to have 2 of each.

Colton is playing soccer and is LOVING it and is really good. He made 3 goals on Tuesday and his coach said if only he was faster. He will get there. He is a passey He has no legs. So for that going against him he sure does a great job. He is so serious out there on the field he is so fun to watch. We get comments every game from other teams that he is the cutest one out there. And is so funny to watch.

Karleigh: She turns 3 on Sunday and we are having a party for her tomarrow. I am so excited. She is so cute and has everday for a couple of months now wakes up and asks if it her birthday. We keep telling her not yet but she knows it is soon and she gets so excited. The other night I was laying with her and we had taken pictures for her invitations that day and she was talking a million miles a minute about what she wanted to do at her party. She wants to play a game called the Cookie Walk we will call it the cupcake walk. I think it is funny that she chose a game to play. She is so cute. She then starts to tell me all the things she wants for presents. I love her to death.
One funny thing she does is everynight we say prayers well Chad always says " in the name of "Thy" son Jesus Christ amen. She will repeat it when it is her turn to say the prayer and she thinks Chad says "in the name of "MY" son jesus christ. So she ends with "in the name of my daddy's son Jesus Christ amen. We laugh everytime. It is soooo cute!

Preston: is just busy growing up and getting big. It is really sad to me at times but how I love him. He is the best big brother to his sister and brother. He is so excited for the new baby. He is loving the first grade and is really doing well. He just wants to be with his friends all the time it is hard to keep him home.

We are getting our milk delivered and the first time was on Thursday the kids ran out to see and were so excited. They call it Healthy milk. Colton poured a cup and took a sip then asked me " Mom do I still look 4?" I said yes why and he said "Watch, took another sip and stood on his tippy toes and said how about now? This is healthy milk remember It makes us grow" I laughed and told him he looked 5. then he drank some more and said now? I said now 10yrs. he drank more and stood and stretched as tall as he could and asked again. I said NOw you look 20 That satisfied him and he walked away. I just kept laughing.! :)

Baby update....

I havn't posted a while about the pregnancy. I am 20 weeks now and am doing great. Baby looks good and I feel pretty good most of the time. Chad is busy with work and the kids keep me busy as well.

Preston started first grade and all day school is long. He is loving it though. I miss him but Karleigh and Colton are loving having my attention. They both are so fun. Colton starts preschool Sep.7 and is so excited. I don't know what Karleigh and I are going to do with ourselves just party I guess.

Fashion Show

Preston and his cousin Courtney decided to have a fashion show with Karleigh and Mia. They did their hair and got them all dressed up fancy. They were so pretty!!!!

Swimming

After a day of fishing we spent the next day swimming and relaxing at the campground.

Camping

We headed up to trial Lake for a night of fishing. We were not prepared and we froze as it started to rain on us. So we headed back to camp and then tried again the next night.

The kids had so much fun. It was a lot of fun! This time we remembered jackets and long pants and even though it was cold and did rain on us they all had a great time and ask when we are going again.

14 weeks

I went to the doctor today. As I was laying there he searched for the heartbeat everytime he thought he had it it was gone. I got worried. He said well lets go peak I can't be sure. Well we peaked and saw very quickly why we couldn't hear it this child never stops moving! Also my placenta is in the front so it made it hard to find it cause he kept hearing me. Anyway little scare but all is good. I am a little nervous this little one is already so active I feel my insides are going to be beat to a pulp when this baby is bigger. Well It may be the last I won't have much left in there when it's done with me. Hopefully it slows down a bit. LOL :)

We spent yesterday at the Farmington Festival days. We had a great time at the parade Since our Kaysville parade experience this year was so horrible I think it is time to bury the hatchet on that parade. We will not be going there next year. Have I ever told you how much I love our little town. The parade was great, people so courteous, carnival was fun. We got 2 new frogs for pets. We went to the fireworks that night and they were really good this year. So overall I have to thank our little town of Farmington (not so little anymore) For giving us a great celebration of our wonderful country.

I love America and am very grateful that I live in this country. The fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. It was so nice to celebrate it with great friends this year. The older I get the more I've come to appreciate this country and realize how much I have taken for granted while I was younger and still do. For some reason when the flag comes I almost tear up for the gratitude and love I have for the men and women that fight for the freedoms we seem to take for granted. We are truly blessed.
